Adventure Time

As I sit here debating whether to take a Claritin, I'm wondering how much longer I'm going to have these reactions. I take a Benadryl at night, but I can actually feel it wearing off in the morning. I can see the hives/welts/injection sites getting redder and feel them getting itchy, and it happens right before my eyes. It's not the new sites, oh no, it's the most recent 4 or 5 sites that are flaring up.

I know this is the second time I'm whining about this, and I'm kinda sorry, but come on already!!

On the bright side, despite the heat, and thanks to air conditioning, I'm still feeling like me (at least inside my head) today. I don't have a whole lot of energy, and my legs are verrrrry heavy today, but I'm not bad. We'll see what happens when I need to walk the 4 houses to the corner to meet the school bus. Hopefully, I can make it back. Today, the driver let my son off after the bus turned down our street, so I didn't need to walk to the corner after all! That was a wonderful surprise, especially because it was 91 humid degrees when the kids were getting home from school.

Benadryl won because I couldn't take the itching anymore. I went to bed really early, so this sat on my computer until today.

Wish me luck, because I'm going to the outlet mall today, on Labor day weekend. I must be insane. Nothing says Labor Day like half-price sales, right?

I'm definitely taking a Claritin because the itching is already making me crazy. Shopping at a mall is bad enough, but going while itchy is just a recipe for violence and disaster.

Time to rouse the kids, and get going. Enjoy your day, everyone!
