Usually summertime is the time for reruns, but since I seem to have a few new people reading this, I'll do a quick recap of me, my blog, and MS before I start the real blog.
I used to be much more muchier (yes, I was just looking for an excuse to use that line again because I love it so). Truthfully, though, I was like a coffee-drinking super human tornado way back when, in another lifetime. I was a workaholic who enjoyed the 60-hour (sometimes more) weeks.
I had MS symptoms, but living in Chicago, no doctor I saw recognized them. I was treated for pneumonia, gas, and nothing; tested for diabetes, rheumatoid arthritis, and Lupus.
I moved back to Buffalo in 2002, and in 2004, I was diagnosed within a week of seeing my doctor because of a flare. http://tryingtofindmynormal.blogspot.com/2015/06/the-day-my-normal-officially-changed.html
I write about whatever pops into my head (which can be a pretty scary place sometimes). Sometimes it's related to MS, sometimes not. I hope you find it entertaining either way.
Finally, Multiple sclerosis (MS) is a nervous system disease that affects your brain and spinal cord. It damages the myelin sheath, the material that surrounds and protects your nerve cells. This damage slows down or blocks messages between your brain and your body, leading to the symptoms of MS. Meaning, anywhere you have nerves is fair game for MS to do whatever it wants. Speaking of game, here's a post where I mention the fun game we play sometimes: http://tryingtofindmynormal.blogspot.com/2015/06/more-luck-than-talent.html
Basically, that's the story line so far. Wow, I've been doing this for a few months, and I just made the blog sound quite unappealing. I guess you'll just have to read a few posts for yourself and make your own decision. http://tryingtofindmynormal.blogspot.com/2015/07/b-positive-international-blood-of.html is a post I like. Here's another. http://tryingtofindmynormal.blogspot.com/2015/06/happy-fathers-day.html http://tryingtofindmynormal.blogspot.com/2015/07/snowflake-indeed.html and the last one.
I guess my main goal is laughter. Yours, mine, my family's...I laugh at myself all the time, and I invite you to laugh along with me, or even at me. I laughed really hard at myself for having a panic attack. I know that panic attacks are no joke, but mine was pretty funny. Here's what happened. http://tryingtofindmynormal.blogspot.com/2015/08/fight-or-flight.html
It just now occurred to me that I don't think I've ever shared my Facebook page in my blog. I share my blog page on my Facebook page every day, but never thought of doing it this way. Cog Fog. Makes a normal idea feel like an epiphany! For whatever reason, I always assumed you had arrived here through the Facebook page, but I'm slowly finding out that's not always the case. Anyway, if you're on Facebook, here's the page: https://www.facebook.com/tryingtofindmynormal. I mostly post the same things there, but I share stuff from other sites, too.
Well, since this turned into an entire post and not a quick recap, I guess I'll save the fresh content post for another day. I don't want to take up too much of your time.
Oh, that's the other thing. I tend to keep my posts short. Even if you only have a few minutes, you'll be able to get through the entire post. Kinda like Short Attention Span Theater, except in written form.

Time flies when you're having fun, lol! Well, sort of. Keep on writing. I enjoy your posts and your unique point of view! <3
