We had a thunderstorm roll on through here a few hours ago. You know the kind...the sky goes from beautiful to scary in seconds. The wind whips up like a Kitchen aid mixer, and then the skies open up. Thunder echoes throughout the area, rattling the dishes in the china cabinet. It was that kind of thunderstorm. Though thankfully, our area missed the hail that was supposed to accompany this storm.
As I was saying before I interrupted myself by mentioning hail, we had this storm a few hours ago. It just now dawned on me that I did not get a weather headache!
For as long as I can remember, I've gotten headaches when the pressure drops, and we're going to get rain. I think I noticed a pattern when we lived in Chicago. I suppose it doesn't really matter when I first noticed, does it? Anyway, I get these headaches that aren't migraines, and they aren't sinus headaches. They are just...well, I guess it feels like a colander on my head being tightened. It's a pressure/pain all over my head. I think of Uncle Fester with his head in the vise, and Morticia tightens the vise until the headache pops out. Only with mine, the colander gets tighter, but the headache stays.
Except I didn't have one today!
I go for my medication randomization on Wednesday. I'm hoping this isn't a case like your car is making a funny noise so you take it to the mechanic, and he can't recreate the noise. I expect it wouldn't matter if I felt fine, it's not like the MS has spontaneously cured itself. That would be nice though, wouldn't it?
I feel like writing more, but my eye is acting up. Ah yes, poor me. No, I'm just saying that it's harder to see the whole screen, and the letters are starting to have chunks missing. We'll revisit this tomorrow, and see if any of this make sense.
Well, it makes as much sense as anything I've written, which, you know, isn't saying much.
So, dear reader, here's my post in all my splendor

"It just now dawned on me that I did not get a weather headache!" - WooHoo!!!

DeleteI still get the pressure drops...
ReplyDeleteI usually do, too. Yesterday was the first time in recent memory I escaped unscathed!
ReplyDeleteWell, my head did, anyway :)
